BILLINGS, Mont. – The Montana State University Billings volleyball team announced the signing of three additional recruits to their 2023 recruiting class.
Avarey Stuff of Great Falls, Montana, Aubrey Allison of Billings, Montana, and Marissa Allen from Pocatello, Idaho join head coach
Casey Bonner's program, bringing the number of recruits in 'Jackets incoming 2023 class up to six.
Avarey Stuff

Charles M. Russell High School
Intended Major: Undecided
Stuff joins the Yellowjackets after participating in varsity volleyball for three years at CMR High School in Great Falls. Under coach Patrick Hiller, Stuff had a 73-9 record in her high school career. She achieved a 97.35 serving percentage for her career, along with 906 digs and 3012 passing points. Stuff was twice selected to both the first team all-state and first team all-conference teams for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, and was a team captain for her final season.
Coach Bonner on Stuff: "Avarey's court presence is what attracted me to her. She stays calm in all situations and has a steadiness to her play. We are looking forward to the consistency that she will bring to our backrow."
Stuff on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because it felt like a home. The coaches and players I met with were very inviting and kind. I love the size of the campus. Billings is a great fit because it gives me some distance from my hometown of Great Falls but also allows me to be close to my family. I am very interested in their Psychology program and love that some of my future teammates are also pursuing psychology. I am so excited for these next few years and cannot wait to be a Yellowjacket!"

Allison was a multi-sport athlete at Shepard High School, completing four years of both varsity volleyball and basketball, as well as a year of softball. For volleyball, Allison was a three-time first team all-conference recipient, two time all state, and was a selected to the all-state tournament team her senior year. She was a team captain for Danielle Robison's team, finishing her career with 1117 kills and 1465 digs. For basketball she was a two-time selection for second team all-conference, and first team all-conference her previous season. In softball, she was a first team all-state selection while setting multiple school records for home runs, RBIs, and batting average in her lone season.
Coach Bonner on Allison: "I have watched Aubrey over the years, and she has developed into one of the strongest athletes in the area. She is versatile, a go-getter, and brings a tough mentality to the program."
Allison on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because the campus felt like home and the atmosphere is amazing. I also love the volleyball coaches and the team."
Marissa Allen
Middle Blocker
Pocatello, Idaho
Century High School
Intended Major: Undecided
Allen joins MSUB after lettering in three years of high school volleyball at Century High School under coach Breanne Robinson. Allen was her team's leader in blocks for two consecutive seasons, helping to lead her team to District Championships in both the 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 seasons. This past season, Allen's squad finished in third place at the state tournament, and she was selected second team all-state. Allen has also lettered in one year of basketball, and was an academic state champion.
Coach Bonner on Allen: "Marissa will add great depth to our middle position. She is strong, quick, and intelligent. She brings the work ethic that I look for in athletes and I can't wait to have her on campus."
Allen on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because it truly felt like home when I visited. Billings immediately had a welcoming atmosphere, and I could picture myself living there. I loved the feel of the campus and could tell it was going to be a really good fit for me. I instantly fell in love with the volleyball program, team, and the coaches. Coach Casey and Coach Morgan were amazing to me, easy to be around, and have built a great program. I am so excited to continue my academic and athletic career at MSUB! Go Yellowjackets!"
