PORTLAND, Ore. – Receiving recognition for its academic achievement during the 2022 fall season, the Montana State University Billings women's soccer team had 15 players selected to the academic all-Great Northwest Athletic Conference list announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

The 15 players selected were tied for the second most in the conference and the number was one off the program record of 16 selections established during the 2021 season. "I am extremely proud of our student athletes for their commitment to excellence in the classroom," said MSUB head coach Stephen Cavallo. "It is never easy with their intensive soccer and travel schedule but they make no excuses when it comes to their school work. They represent our program's values so well and I am grateful for all the work they put in on and off the field."

To be eligible for the award, players must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher and be in at least their second season of competition with the team. MSUB's list featured six repeat selections and nine first-time selections.
