PORTLAND, Ore. – Both scheduled Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's basketball games for Montana State University Billings this week have been postponed, announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
 
Due to travel issues and flight cancellations related to heavy snowfall and inclement weather in the Pacific Northwest, Thursday's scheduled women's basketball game between Montana State Billings and Alaska in Fairbanks has been postponed.
 
The postponement of Thursday's game came after it was announced earlier Tuesday that the Yellowjackets' game at No. 11 University of Alaska Anchorage - scheduled for Saturday night - would be postponed due to COVID-19 circumstances within the Seawolves' program.
 
No makeup dates have been announced for the two postponed contests. MSUB's next game will be at home against No. 7 Western Washington on Jan. 6. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Yellowjackets are 7-7 overall and 1-1 in conference play, and last saw the court on Dec. 18 with a 72-58 win over University of Wisconsin Parkside.
