BILLINGS, Mont. – Monday, the baseball coaching staff at Montana State University Billings announced two recruits, Wyatt Boone and Keith Manby have signed a National Letter of Intent to join the program for the 2020-21 season. The additions bring the current baseball recruiting total to six for next spring. Both Manby and Boone help bolster the 'Jacket pitching staff.

Boone joins the Yellowjackets as a transfer. He spent one season at Seattle University and one season at Saddleback College. As a freshman, Boone had a dominant outing in a start at Cowlitz with three hits, four strikeouts, and one walk over six innings in a 6-3 win. Boone graduated from Jserra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, California where he earned one letter in baseball.
He also played summer collegiate baseball for the Victoria Harbourcats. He is the son of Warren Boone and Julia Buchhein and has one older sister, Brianna.

Keith Manby

Before joining the 'Jackets, Manby spend two years at Miles Community College where he played for a very successful team. Manby was named all-conference and helped the baseball team win the Region and Conference titles. Among his highlights, Manby tossed a complete game no-hitter versus national ranked Bismarck State College.
In the game, he pitched 7.0 innings with four walks and 10 strikeouts in a 1-0 win. He finished tied for seventh in the nation with 102 strikeouts in 12 starts. At the plate, Manby hit .356 with 12 doubles, one triple, three home runs, and 36 runs batted in.

Manby on why he chose MSUB: "I chose MSUB because I felt at home the from the first moment I stepped on campus. From the facilities to the program itself, it fit exactly what I wanted to be a part of. Also, having a couple teammates that I played with my freshman year made the decision even easier. I'm super excited to be a Yellowjacket and can't wait to get after it next fall."
The Yellowjackets (11-6, 3-4 GNAC) return home this week to host Central Washington University at Dehler Park. Doubleheader are set for Friday and Saturday with first pitch at 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the gate and all games will be streamed live with commentary and statistics through
