Life during the pandemic: Mason Powell

MSUB SPORTS – With all Montana State University Billings athletic competition on hold during the fall of 2020, we sent out a questionnaire to Yellowjacket student-athletes and athletics staff members reflecting on how they have coped with the many challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

What do you enjoy most about the MSUB team that you are a member of?
I enjoy the aspect of feeling like I'm a part of a family.      
 
What are you looking forward to most about being back with your team?
Hopefully being able to just practice and play all together.
 
What has been the most challenging part of life during the pandemic?
Not being able to go to the movie theater or play much baseball.
 
What have you missed the most about not being around your team?
I've missed the competitiveness between everyone and the confidence we get from playing together.
 
What is something that you're proud of doing during the pandemic or the most interesting thing you have done?
I created my own lifting gym in the basement of my house and named it "Planet Sweat."
 
10 years from now I will look back on the year 2020 and say, "I learned _____________."
