BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Scoring early and often, No. 17 Western Washington University thoroughly dominated Montana State University Billings 8-0 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's soccer game Saturday afternoon at Harrington Field. Zoe Milburn had four goals on six shot attempts and Estera Levinte scored twice on three shots to help the Vikings get within one goal of a GNAC single game record. Seven players recorded single assists for WWU and the Vikings took 28 shot attempts, compared to MSUB's six.

Stephen Cavallo. "Credit to Western Washington for putting away their chances."
Western Washington did the most damage midway through the second half and scored four goals over a stretch of five minutes (72:52 to 77:26). Jenna Killman and Peyton Chick posted one goal and one assist apiece. Natalie Dierickx made one save in 60 minutes at goalkeeper for WWU. Claire Henninger contributed the final 30 minutes and added one save to the shutout effort.
The Yellowjackets (3-4-2, 2-2-0 GNAC) created two shots on goal from
Josie Corbin and
Haley German.
Alexa Iacolucci led the 'Jackets with 83 minutes on the field and managed one shot attempt.
MSUB goalkeeper
Erinn Harder allowed four goals on nine shots and was replaced in the 68
th minute by
Abby Hamilton. Hamilton also allowed four tallies on six shots.
Milburn found a rebound goal off a Harder save, opening WWU's scoring surge 6 minutes, 15 seconds into the contest. Milburn made it 2-0 18 minutes later after she re-directed a cross inside the box. Milburn collected the hat-trick in the 73
rd minute and finished out her fourth goal on a near-post tap in less than two minutes later.

Josie Corbin was named MSUB's St. Vincent Healthcare player of the game…MSUB lost by a combined 12 goals in two games this week. The road losses follow three straight wins beginning at the start of the regular season…The Yellowjackets have eight remaining regular season conference contests.
