Seattle Pacific (9-6-0, 7-2-0) outshot Montana State Billings 13-3 including 10 shots on goal. Mariah Alexander opened the onslaught with a re-direct inside the box in the 7
th minute to put MSUB on its heels. Claire Neder netted a goal just under a minute later after receiving a pass from Megan Moore.
The second half yielded more offensive opportunities for the speedy Falcons. Chilczuk touched a soft midfield pass into a breakaway for her first goal in the 61
st minute. Chilczuk found a cross in the middle of the box and went high to ice the game for SPU in the 71
st minute.

Despite the loss,
Courteney Shovlin had a strong game for the Yellowjackets. After finding space on the right side of the field, Shovlin crossed up a defender before perfectly sliding across a pass to Keller for MSUB's 87
th minute score.
Despite six saves, MSUB goalkeeper
Erinn Harder suffered the loss. Riley Travis picked up the win with one save in 90-minutes for SPU. Chilczuk accounted for half of the Falcons 10 shot attempts and landed four on frame. Claire Neder also put two shots on goal for SPU.
The Yellowjackets (4-8-2, 3-6-0) extended their losing streak to four games Saturday night, but received meaningful contributions from seniors Shovlin,
Kalin Sandow,
Claire Tevaseu,
Erin Reynolds,
Amanda Hemmen,
Alexa Iacolucci, and
Sahara Iverson.
The Falcons earned five corner kicks compared to four for MSUB. SPU committed eight fouls whereas the 'Jackets ended with three.
THE BUZZ: Persistent snow accumulation forced the afternoon game to be rescheduled from Yellowjacket Field at noon to 5 p.m. at Herb Klindt Field on the campus of Rocky Mountain College. The Yellowjackets celebrated senior day as well as 'Jackets kick cancer day on Saturday night.
UP NEXT: With ground to make up in the standings, MSUB plays next on October 31 at 3 p.m. to conclude a three-game homestand against Central Washington University. MSUB is sixth in the GNAC with nine points, four behind CWU for the fourth and final playoff position with three regular season games remaining.
