BILLINGS, Mont. – In preparation for the 2015-16 academic year, the Montana State University Billings cheer and stunt squad will hold an open tryout on April 26 in the lower and main gymnasiums in the Physical Education Building on the MSUB campus announced head coach
Jessica Hart Friday.

The tryout is open to all prospective male and female cheer team members, and a tryout release form must be completed and turned in no later than 5 p.m. on April 23 in order to participate. The cost of attending the tryout is $20, and it will run from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The MSUB cheer and stunt team performs at all home men's and women's basketball games and select home volleyball and men's and women's soccer matches throughout the academic year. The squad also participates in a variety of activities such as community service and fundraisers.

"As a cheerleader for MSUB, one must be dedicated, determined, and be prepared to work to their full potential at all times," Hart said.
MSUB students must hold a grade point average of 2.5 or higher to be eligible to participate in the cheer and stunt program.
