Monmouth, Ore. – The #25 Montana State University Billing Women's Basketball team won their game against Western Oregon University, 77-67 on Thursday, Feb. 20.

With the win, MSU Billings has now won 11 in-a-row, and continues their conference win streak at 10 games.
MSU Billings turned the ball over 18 times, six times more than their average, and only had six more rebounds than WOU (41-35), but the team shot 40 percent from the perimeter and stayed consistent in the short court to keep WOU in check.
Quinn Peoples was 2-4 from the three-point arc in the first half, and
Kayleen Goggins led both teams in scoring with eight at the half as no player had points totaling in the double-digits. The Yellowjackets used a 13-5 run in the final five minutes to take a 39-28 lead at the half.
With eight minutes left in the first half, MSUB's
Brandy Kumm drove into lane for an open lay-up giving the Yellowjackets only their second lead of the game 22-21. Kumm's basket would spark a rally for MSUB. Western Oregon shot 35 percent from the field in the first half while MSUB was 14-29 and 48 percent.
"I though Western Oregon played very well tonight; they worked hard," said Head Coach

At the start of the second half, Western Oregon would come out firing, Kelsey Henry made two lay-ups and Elise Miller a three-point shot to get the Wolves back to within five.
Western Oregon (6-17, 3-12 GNAC) would keep it close. With 1:43 left in the game MSUB's
