Billings, Mont. – Offensive struggles continue to plague the Yellowjackets as they lose 2-1 in overtime to Central Washington University Saturday (Sept. 28) afternoon. Montana State Billings now falls to 2-3-1 overall and 1-3-0 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
 
The Wildcats outshot MSUB 24-9 and hit seven targets on goal compared to the Jackets four. Savannah Moorehouse had six of Central's 24 and recorded one goal on the day.
 
Alisa Sagdahl only played seven minutes in the contest but was able to score MSUB's only goal. Ashley Marra also turned in a solid performance, registering two shots on goal in 53 minutes on the pitch.
 
The Yellowjackets jumped out of the blocks fast, scoring the game's first goal within the first minute. At 00:25 Chelsea Shuman passed ahead to Sagdahl on the right side of the field and she beat the keeper to the left, putting MSUB ahead 1-0.
 
MSUB held the lead until the 70^th minute, when Tarah Duty sent a pass past by two Yellowjacket defenders hitting an open Moorehouse and she beat Kaylee Kimmet to even the score at 1-1.
 
Unable to break the tie, the match went into extra minutes and the Wildcats offensive pressure would prove to be too much as Duty put home a 20 yard shot that deflected off Kimmet's hand, scoring the game winning goal for Central Washington at 96:20.
 
The Wildcats improve to 4-3 overall and 3-1 in the GNAC.
 
Kimmet recorded a game high five saves between the pipes, while the opposition played two goal keepers: Kayla Lipston and Amanda White. Registering 69:48 minutes and three saves, White was credited with the win.
 
MSUB will remain on the road for their next match, playing Saint Martin's University on Oct. 3.
