Billings, Mont. – No lead is safe as No. 25 Seattle Pacific University used two goals in the final 10 minutes to avoid the upset by the Yellowjackets Thursday night (Sept. 26). Montana State Billings fell 2-1 to their highly ranked counterpart, and now sit at 2-2-1 overall and 1-2-0 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
 
The Falcons (6-1-0, 3-0 GNAC) continue to roll, winning their six consecutive contest.
 
In a match that didn't feature much offense until the latter minutes, Seattle Pacific dominated possession and outshot MSUB 9-2. The Falcons also recorded five shots on goal compared to the Yellowjackets one.
 
While they didn't have many attempts on target, they made their one count. At 62:34 Alisa Sagdahl received a throw in from Heidi Greenback, and netted her shot from 12 yards out, putting the Jackets ahead 1-0.
 
With the game entering the final minutes, it seemed as if MSUB would pull off the upset. Seattle Pacific put their attack into high gear and tied the match in the 80^th minute. Following a Yellowjacket foul, Ashley Shaw scored on a free kick from 25 yards out.
 
Not settling for overtime, Seattle Pacific continued to attack and scored at 84:54. Demi Waitley put home a header from 10 yards out to give the Falcons the 2-1 advantage. Taylor Hauck sent the cross pass, receiving credit for the assist.
 
Greenback tried to even the score for MSUB but her attempt at 89:59 went wide right. Seattle Pacific completed the comeback, and captured the one goal victory.
 
Kaylee Kimmet started for the Yellowjackets between the pipes and registered three saves.
 
The Yellowjackets face Central Washington University on Sept. 28 at 12:00 PM (Pacific Time).
