BILLINGS, Mont. -- The Montana State University Billings' volleyball team opens its home schedule with a pair of Great Northwest Athletic Conference matches against No. 11 Western Washington and Simon Fraser Thursday and Saturday.

MSUB OPENS HOME SCHEDULE
* It is the conference season-opener for Western Washington.
* Montana State Billings has won seven of its last 10 home openers.
* The Yellowjackets have won consecutive home openers, including a sweep over Seattle Pacific last season.
* Since joining the GNAC, MSU Billings is 3-3 in conference home openers.
* MSUB is 0-15 all-time versus Western Washington, including 0-6 at home.
* The Vikings have won 45 of the 47 all-time sets against MSUB.
* Western Washington has never lost a set to the Yellowjackets in Billings.
* Montana State Billings has lost 18 straight sets versus WWU.
* MSU Billings has won five straight matches versus Simon Fraser.
* The Yellowjackets have won five of the eight all-time matches with SFU.
* MSUB has won 15 consecutive sets over the Clan.
* Simon Fraser has never won a set in Billings.

* This is the 34th season of Yellowjacket volleyball.
* Montana State Billings begins its seventh season in the GNAC.
* MSU Billings finished tied for sixth in the GNAC with an 8-10 record.
* Montana State Billings was selected sixth in the GNAC preseason poll.
* The Yellowjackets' 40 points in the preseason poll was the second most since MSUB joined the GNAC in 2007.

* MSUB welcomes back four starters, while losing two and a libero.
* Last season, the Yellowjackets were 3-0 in five-set matches.
