GNAC Week 4 Report
Billings, Mont. – MSU Billings women's soccer team continues its five game road skid with matches against Saint Martin's University and Western Oregon University this weekend. Weekly Game Notes are attached.
HISTORY

looking to bounce back
MSU Billings is looking to right the ship after losing three straight matches. The Yellowjackets will have to endure tough environments again, playing on the road for the second week in a row. Offensively MSU Billings has hit a rough patch and currently average 9.7 shots per game. They remain efficient with their opportunities, posting a .534 shot on goal percentage. The Jackets backline has played fairly well this season; ranking fourth in the GNAC in saves (29), notching three shutouts and a .784 save percentage.
Match-up: Yellowjackets vs saint martin's
Saint Martin's enters the contest with an under .500 record., but feel very confident after playing MSUB to a double overtime draw in their last meeting. The Saints average 0.86 goals per game, 10.1 shots per game and a .408 shot on goal percentage. Gina Cardenas will be anchoring the defense, coming into the event with 37 saves, one shutout and a .755 save percentage. Kelli Bannerman has proven to be lethal in the box, with four goals this season, putting her tied for third in the conference.
Match-up: Yellowjackets vs western oregon
Western Oregon is playing good soccer in 2013 and currently sit at 3-2-3 overall. The Wolves have gotten the best of the Yellowjackets, sweeping MSUB in their series last season. Offensively, WOU averages 1.0 goal per match and has registered a .586 shot on goal average. While Makana Pundyke leads the team in goals scored with three, the Jackets will also have to keep an eye out for Taija Bjorgo and Allison Frost who have two goals in 2013. The pair have also registered one assist each. Amanda Rose will be starting at goalkeeper for the Wolves and has recorded 18 saves and three shutouts this season with a .857 save percentage.

Alisa Sagdahl is starting to heat up, scoring two goals this past weekend; one against Seattle Pacific on Sept. 26 and the other against Central Washington on Sept. 28. For her efforts she received honorable mention recognition for the Red Lion GNAC Player of the Week. Sagdahl is second on the team in points with four.
