Lindsay Sullivan

Inside Athletic Training: Meet MSUB's Miracle Workers

Lindsay Sullivan is entering her 14th year as an athletic trainer for Montana State University Billings and was promoted to the title of associate athletic director for athletic training in 2023-24. Hailing from Belgrade, Montana, she is primarily responsible for the care of volleyball, men’s and women’s cross-country, women’s basketball and softball. Sullivan also assists with the care of golf and cheer.
 
Prior to MSUB, Sullivan was a graduate student working with South Dakota State University athletics. She obtained her master’s degree in athletic training in 2012. Sullivan worked with the SDSU football and softball teams, as well as several local high school teams. She also completed student sports medicine and athletic training rotations with Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, Dakota State University (Division III) in Madison, South Dakota, and the Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
 
Sullivan obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in health and human performance from MSUB in 2010.
 
In the spring of 2014 she began teaching a graduate level course for MSU Billings.
 
Sullivan holds her certification through the National Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers as well as her Montana state Licensure. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and also holds her CPR and AED certifications.
