    Women's Basketball Volunteer Assistant Coach
Bobbi Knudsen has joined the MSUB women's basketball staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2016-17 season.

A native of Malta, Mont., Knudsen was the Yellowjackets starting point guard from 2010-14. She was a member of the 2013-14  team that finished 25-8, winning the regular season Great Northwest Athletic Conference title and in the postseason advancing to the Sweet Sixteen and the West Region title game against Cal Poly Pomona.

Her senior campaign, Knudsen ended the year ranked No. 5 in the nation in assists per game with 5.8, and No. 29 in assist/turnover ratio with 1.95. 

One of the best players to come out of the MSUB program, Knudsen's name appears 25 times in the Montana State University Billings career record book.  In her four years at MSU Billings, Knudsen amassed 1,831 points and 532 assists.  Her senior season at MSUB she set the single season assist record with 193. She averaged 17.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.8 assists her final year as a Yellowjacket.

Knudsen was named the GNAC Women's Basketball Player of the Year and the GNAC Women's Athlete of the Year. She was selected to the Daktronics Academic All-District team, and the Co-SIDA Academic All-District and GNAC Academic All-Conference teams for three straight years.

After finishing her collegiate career with the Yellowjackets, Knudsen signed with Freiburg in the German DBBL, competing for the Professional Women's Basketball League during the 2014-15 season. After returning to the U.S., Knudsen began her coaching career as an assistant with the Seattle Pacific women's basketball program.
