Anica Knispel is in her third year as an assistant coach for MSUB’s track and field team, and works primarily with the Yellowjackets’ throwers.
Knispel competed for the Yellowjackets through the 2012 season, and posted winning marks in the shot put in three meets in 2011. Knispel won the GNAC title with a conference-record throw of 14.04 meters, and had a season-best discus throw of 38.75 meters at the NNU Invite in April of 2011.
Knispel was a USTFCCCA all-west region honoree in shot put.
Knispel is a 2010 graduate of Skyview High School in Billings, where she was an all-state selection her final two seasons for the Falcons.
