Montana State University Billings Athletics

Assistant coach Chris Martin will begin his third season on the Yellowjacket baseball staff this year. He is no stranger to MSUB baseball as he played two seasons for former head coach Chris Brown in the Yellowjackets’ inaugural two seasons in 2006 and 2007. 

Martin earned his bachelor’s degree in business-finance from MSUB in 2008. Prior to coming to MSUB, he played for coach Rob Bishop at Miles Community College for two seasons. 

A Billings native, Martin attended Billings West High School and played for the Billings Scarlets legion team. Since graduating from MSUB, Martin has been the pitching coach for the Scarlets and the Cardinals for the past three years.
